Most of my career has been about helping people understand information, learn systems and solve practical problems. I have done that in business, consulting and education across several countries. The newer digital projects are another way of doing the same thing.
About me
I have an MBA and a journalism degree. I spent eight years at NorQuest College, most recently teaching business and technology, after earlier work in business, consulting and education in Australia, Papua New Guinea, China, Hong Kong and Türkiye. The common thread is pretty simple: I like taking something complicated and making it useful.
What I bring
I am looking for my next opportunity in Edmonton or remotely. I bring teaching and facilitation experience, business and communication skills, and hands-on work with digital tools. I am especially interested in training, learning and development, instructional design, technology adoption and related work where people need to understand a system, idea or process and actually use it.
