The problem

Students need feedback before the final submission.

Instructors want to give useful writing feedback, but time is limited. Students often need clearer guidance while they are still revising, not only after the assignment has already been graded.

What I built

A simple AI-supported prototype that turns student writing into structured revision guidance, with emphasis on clarity, organization, evidence, tone, and next steps.

Why it matters

The tool shows how AI can support learning without replacing instructor judgment. The value is not automatic grading. The value is faster, clearer preparation for revision.

What this demonstrates

Workflow design, educational judgment, plain-language feedback, privacy-aware thinking, and the ability to turn a recurring teaching problem into a usable prototype.

Design approach

Built around the actual teaching workflow.

1. Reduce confusion

Feedback is organized into categories students can understand and act on.

2. Keep humans in control

The prototype supports instructor review. It does not make final academic judgments.

3. Make revision practical

The output focuses on what the student can improve next, not vague comments.
